So here is a review of this months blocks:
12 String blocks
3 That Thirties Thing Blocks
4 Centennial Blocks
6 Pinwheel Blocks
1 Flower Block
Today I spent over 5 hrs hemming hubby's pants!! I hemmed 2 coveralls, 2 sweat pants, 2 cargo pants, and 4 pairs of jeans!!!
Earlier this week I made a card and a pair of earrings for our nieces' birthday.
I still need to practice making loops!
And I finally made some design boards (10) from Lori (beeinmybonnet) Holt's tutorial. I didn't use hot glue nor did I stitch up the 'binding'. I just folding the binding and pressed real well to have a crisp fold and use Aleene's Fast Grab tacky glue. I love Aleene's Quick Designer glue to glue EVERYTHING, but it is no longer available, so I tried this one and it works just as well as the Designer glue. I'm happy with the way they came out and have already put a couple of them to use!!So that's it for this week. Linking this post to soscrappy. Be sure to check it out.
...........Sew till next time.........

There was a LOT of blue scrap at your house and you sure put them to good use. So many beautiful blocks. Love them all but especially your flower block. It is gorgeous. ;^)
Love those design boards. You got so much done this month! Congratulations on so many pretty projects under way.
I spy some selvage edges being put to good use. So many lovely projects for 2016. The design boards could have so many uses. Good idea!
OMGosh, you are in overdrive! Can't wait to see your progress over the months.
You are a Sewing MACHINE this week! :)
great use of your blues- and I bet you STILL have some left, right? it seems it's always that way with the blues....
You have been BUSY!!!!!! Lots of great blocks. I don't do hems (never learned how to sew clothing).
Such a WONDERFUL selection of projects!! TOO MANY projects?? NO!! Not when they are coming out of your scrap bins. Keep those blocks coming!!
I think you have maxed out the blue! Sorry to hear you had to spend time hemming lol.
You have such a great variety of blocks! I really like the new ones you made this week. What size do they finish at?
This is the third blog in a row that I'm reading that had those scrappy pinwheel blocks. Wow, that's tempting for me.
Oh my goodness! Such beautiful blue blocks. What a beautiful gift you made for your niece.
What a nice collection of blues, a very productive month. Keep up the good work!
Awesome bunch of blocks there. The rainbow twist is a bit unusual, love it. And other makes as well. I made some of those design boards, but found that the hot glue gun didn't heat the glue well enough for it to spread properly and it kept setting before I had the boards done. I ended up pitching that and using craft glue, but wasn't all that happy with that either.
Beautiful blocks! Lots and lots of true blue fun!
(We pinwheel makers should form a club, eh?)
So many lovely blue blocks, I really like the Rainbow Twist blocks.
It's so much fun to see all your projects! All your blues look great - you're going to have a big ol' batch of quilts at the end of the year.
So many lovely blocks. I especially like your flower block.
My goodness girl!!! You don't let any grass grown under your feet, do you? Lovely blocks - such an inspiration!!!
Lots of pretty blue blocks at your place. You really ate up the scraps this month!
Congrats!! What a productive month Blue was for you!!
You have a lot of projects going on! Blue is my favorite color, so I am loving all your blocks. I don't know what I would do without my design boards--Lori is a genius!
