I seem to always start off the month with the Jacob's Ladder Blocks. I have all the scrappy 4 patches and the background triangles done, so these get whipped up pretty fast.
I still love doing these pinwheels! I can't wait to get them made into a top at the end of the year!
In case you are thinking that these Centennial Stars look a little odd, it's because I hadn't removed the paper backing!! They all wanted to curl up!
The last couple of days I have been stitching up my Scrappy Strings. I still have 2 more to make. I will not even make a dent in my red selvedge bin, but that's okay. At least it will be a few strings lighter!!
There was a few birthday's last month and this month, so I whipped up a few more pairs of earrings to give.
Just noticed that some of these look gold, but they are actually all silver! My sister in law loves pink, so I made these for her. And darn, I forgot to take pics of the cute little boxes that I made to put them in.
The next 2 were for the younger generation, a 19 year old and 21 year old!!And I also recovered my cutting/ironing table. I found this cute sewing machine fabric on our last trip and I could kick myself for not getting more!! I bought just enough to cover this top, but now I want to make a sewing machine pad and cover! Oh well, I might run across it online or locally! If not, that's okay, I have more than enough projects to keep me busy!!
I also got out my Go Baby. All the fabric you see there, is now little 2" squares!!

You did kept yourself busy. So many blocks made already in the colour of the month. Kudos for you. Love every single one of them. The earrings are all beautiful too. I love the last pair. Charming. The fabric with the sewing machine is awesome! Enjoy! ;^)
I love red, and all your red blocks were just so fun to see! I especially like those pinwheel blocks in the different reds. Your earrings are great - what perfect gifts!
Wow, you had a busy week! First, your red blocks are all to die for. I just cannot wait to see them all come together (especially those pinwheels) into some gorgeous quilts. I used to make all my own jewelry when I worked, and enjoyed it then. Do you use high end materials (sterling/hypo-allergenic?) or the everyday stuff? I have so many leftovers of the latter...
Fun earrings! I'm pretty sure Denise at Mes Amis Quilt Shop in New Orleans has that sewing machine fabric. I have a hunk of it - it's definitely one of my favorite SM fabrics!
You seem to have lots of beautiful reds to work with! My pile of reds is much smaller than I anticipated. :)
Wow.... that is a lot of red projects already worked on! Great job and love the earrings you made. I have yet to pull the red from the bins to see what I have to work with this month.
Your RED projects display a variety of scraps in a rosy glow. All look GREAT!!!
All your red blocks are fantastic! I'm such a fan of those centennial stars!
I haven't done any reds yet except for the pig I made last week. All your pretties are making me want to get busy and go red!
You got a lot done! I love the earrings.
Amazing amount of red done so early, all looking great. I love the earrings, but gave up the pierced years ago. You can't do much with shaky hands and tiny holes. Did not know you had such a talent. Great week.
That's a lot of red. I love the diversity of the types of blocks you are making...from strings to centennial stars. And if this is how you're starting out the month, I can hardly wait to see next week!
Oh my goodness you did so much. I feel a bit slack now for only managing one wonky star, but that's a step up on last month.
I love your pinwheel blocks. This is such a pretty design.
Such lovely red blocks and so many. I love those gorgeous earrings.
