Anyhoo, I have an updated list AND I made all the extra blocks I needed for January and February, so I am all caught up! Whew! Let me tell you, it was a whirlwind in the studio this week! So without further ado, here are my finished blocks for February.
I made 12 Scrappy Strings.
Here is my Rainbow Twist ( I was planning on making 3 each month, but I only need 20 blocks, so on even months I will make 1 and on odd months I will make 2 (except I need to make 2 next month so I will have the right amount at the end of the year). I know, that was probably more info than you wanted or needed!! Sorry!!

One more thing.......I finally took pics of my finished Cresent City Charm quilt. Take a look!
And the back!! I put a 1" stripe in the middle of the purple because I needed to hide the faded mark down the fabric fold line. At least it didn't go to waste!
My go to quilting pattern is a stipple. I'm always in a hurry to finish and this goes so fast!!
I have been making a narrow binding using 2" strips, a la Bonnie Hunter, on my last few quilts and I love it! Don't know if I will ever go back to a wider binding.
And a label to finish it all off.

I haven't thought that far ahead for my rainbow blocks - I'll probably be making several of them for a couple of years...
All your blocks (and your quilt) are great, but I really love the strings with applique flowers. I may have to copy that idea!

All of your brown blocks are scrumptious. You have a great plan going there. I am looking forward to seeing them at the end of the year. I also like your finish including the scrappy backing. I have gotten to the place where I put as many scraps as possible on my backings. I just keep joining them until they become large enough for a backing.
Wow, what an ambitious plan! I hope you can indeed stick with it throughout the year, you'll have four great quilt tops ready to assemble. I admire the way you're looking ahead to next year too. Kudos on the finish of Crescent City too. Wonderful work all the way around!
