Finish it up Friday--Baby Quilt

I made the top at the end of 2013 and just finished quilting, binding and labeling just in time. The baby was born a week ago! Now I just have to deliver it.

The theme for the baby's room is Sailboats. I didn't ask about colors, just thought I would do my own thing. I had bought a cute brown and blue flannel last summer that I was dying to use, so brown and blue sailboats came to be!!

The flannel needed to be one inch wider, so the leftover blocks came to the rescue and made it the perfect size.

I made each set of sails from a different blue fabric. The whole top was all from my stash!

I needed to finish quickly so stipple quilting was the way to go. I'm really happy with this one.

I am linking up to Finish it up Friday @crazymomquilts for the first time. Check it out to see what others have accomplished this week!

Sew till next time.......
