I'm in on EASY STREET!

I really tried hard to resist Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt called "Easy Street", but I couldn't, so I'm all in this year! This will be my first mystery quilt and am really looking forward to making it. If I stay on course, this will be my first completed top for 2013! You can check and see how everyone else is doing with this mystery by logging on here http://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/easy-street-mystery.html
I am making this quilt with the help of "Peaches", my featherweight! Love her!

I didn't decide to do this mystery until Monday, partly because I have 4 other quilts that I am working on and need to get done, but I was so bummed out not being able to do the one she posted last year, that I decided I would bite the bullet and do this one! So part 1 is done!

I'm trying to use only my stash, and not having but one small piece of "gray", I decided to use a black with some gray in it. Hard to believe I don't have much gray looking at this stash, right?

Sew til next time...........

What a gorgeous little machine! I have never seen one. Love your 4-patches, and that stash - drool ;-)

Oh I love your featherweight! I have wanted one for so long. And I love her name! Can't wait to see how your quilt progresses!

Oh, your fabric is all so neatly organized! Mine started that way but then when I pull and use fabrics they get put away on top, not necessarily in their correct color spot. Then, when I'm finished with a project, I have to reorganize. (Of course, I'm assuming yours always stays organized!)
