This is the latest finished quilt. I made the top a few years ago using "fairy frost" fabric. I had to inprovise when I didn't have enough to finish one of the blue borders, so I came up with the applique hearts! It will be a gift for a baby shower this weekend for someone who is expecting a girl.
I've never done this type of label before. Hopefully the colors hold up after numerous washings!

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I have never thought of adding applique on a border where I've run out of a fabric. What a great idea!! The quilt is so cute. Is it a pattern that is still available to buy? What a lucky baby to get this quilt.
